09/12/00 KongQW: In an attempt to counter the latest rash of cheats Kong.net is now running its own compiled server side executable. The following details the changes in Slick's own words. J.C.

The "KongQW (v3)" QW Serverside designed by Slick has given promise to Kong.Net (and other QW servers in the near future). This front-end will drop anyone who decides to use an aimbot, autoaim, the speedhack, radar, or even hacked models. Hidden names are now a thing of the past. Increased max-entities support from 512 to 1024 (this will prevent most crashes), and max-rate support increased by 20% so maps, models, etc. download faster. QW Clients are *not* required to use or download a client-side exe (although a Kong-Client will be distributed shortly) to connect to a KongQW Server. More info will be available at Slick's website.

QWF: The QWF test has been cancelled until a more stable version is released.

08/16/00 QWF: QWF is currently being tested on port 27502.
KongMod: New version just released and running on kong. Shambler fix and many others.
