Properties |
| 1. Rune of Regeneration | Regenerates health & armor (if you have armor)---up to 104 health/armor. If you're quick you can outlive almost anyone. |
| 2. Rune of Resistance | You take only 1/2 damage when shot. Makes "invincible" sound when hit. Good for rocket jumps & quad shots. |
| 3. Rune of Haste | Shooting is twice as fast, accompanied with haste's growling sound. Great rune as long as you have plenty of ammo. |
| 4. Rune of Environmental Protection | Slime and lava GIVE health instead of taking it away. Water also gives health if you stay in long enough. Activating rune when in lava or slime makes you jump really high. Water isn't as high a jump, but you can't drown. You're immune to spike traps, lavaballs, falling, getting squished, ice traps, death spots, radiation damage, death orbs, & Electric Rune zaps, but you can't get more than 100 health. |
| 5. Berserker Rune | You cause 6x damage, but take 3x damage. You can tell someone has this rune from its "quad like" sound. |
| 6. Rune of Recall | Activate rune and your recall point is set. Every time you activate the rune after this, you teleport back to that spot. Press it again on the recall spot to release the recall point & move it somewhere else. Good for getting out of a hot rocket fight or great for grabbing a weapon really fast. |
| 7. Electric Rune | Turns you into a walking lightning gun--zaps anyone within short distance from you. Rune gives you 10 cells, each zap costs you 1 cell. If you run out you can recharge it with more cells. Players with this rune have lightning flashing around their bodies. As with the lightning gun--it doesn't mix well with liquids--so don't go for a swim. If you hit this rune under water...well if you're lucky you'll have have a couple of health points left and a dead lightning bolt on your head (you can recharge it). If not....you're crispy. |
| 8. Rune of Divine Wind | Activate rune for a 3 second count down & then BOOM! You take out everyone in a large room--kamikaze style. If someone shoots you before you detonate--you still take out people around you--just not as big a blast. Very cool rune---its a no win rune for victims---if they shoot you they die, if they don't shoot you you're going to kill them. Hunt people down with it & watch 'em run! |
| 9. Death Spots | Activate the rune to create a death spot. You lose 20 health (without armor) for each spot (remember this if you've got quad--not wise). In a few seconds it turns to little floating white spots. The first person who touches it explodes--even you. Makes a nice big mess of whoever runs into it. It blows up on it's own after a while, so you don't want to be next to it when that happens either. |
| 10. HoloRune | Activate the rune & make copies of yourself--up to 5 copies at a time. They turn & look like they're shooting just like you--they just don't go anywhere. Great for faking out the enemy. They disappear in about 30 seconds--or when you die. |
| 11. Orb of Death | A weird looking gray spiky thing rotates around you--no activation required. It damages anybody who gets in its way, except you. When you get killed, it bounces around for a while, continuing to kill in your name :) |
| 12. Rune of Camouflage | Don't move, don't shoot, and you're invisible--not even eyes show. Great for waiting for weapons/items. Even better for typing :) |
| 13. Rune of Uncontrollable Jumping | Everyone in the area but the one who has it gets to do jumping jacks. Makes victims sitting (or jumping) ducks. :P. Locates victims you can't see too--you hear them jumping since they "grunt" with each jump. |
| 14. Action Movie Arsenal | Slowly gives you ammo--when a particular kind of ammo is full it gives you the guns for the ammo too. |
| 15. Vampiric Rune | Dish out damage to someone and get 100% of that damage back in health to you. Play your cards right and you could live forever just like a vampire. Makes a cool "groaning" sound when it's sucking life. Max health is 200. |
| 16. Rune of Shielding | Activate this rune and for a few seconds its like you have 666. It doesn't last long & takes a few seconds to recharge though. Great for emergencies or rocket jumping. |
| 17. Rune of Strength | 2x damage---cool from a distance---makes that wonderful "you're gonna die" sound. :P |
| 18. Rune of Radioactivity | Activate this rune and in 5 seconds the area will be irradiated for 45 seconds. Anyone in that area will slowly die of radiation poisoning until they leave the area (they die quickly if you had quad :P). You can only set three irradiation points at a time, and you can't set one in view of another. Great thing about this rune is that you leave radiation when you die too--so if you almost won the battle, your radiation should finish 'em off. Fitting reward for campers--kill 'em or irradiate their tent. |
| 19. Switch Rune | Aim at another Player and activate the rune. You'll instantly switch places, ammo, health, weapons, and items with them. Disorients your victim, steals their stuff. Watch it though--you can end up on the losing end--if they have less health or ammo than you, then you may be sorry (and dead). |
| 20. Ice Traps | Works like death spots, but looks like small floating purple spikey orbs. Activate the rune and run. You can drop only 5 at a time though. Whoever hits the spot is frozen in place until the 10 seconds or so is up--or they get shot first. |
| 21. Gravity Rune | Activate the rune & drop a gravity well. It sucks up everything around that's not nailed down--Players, rockets, grenades. Activate the the rune again & remove the well. Affects the trajectory of weapons being fired too. |
| 22. Impact Rune | Adds impact damage to weapons, but the most fun with this rune is just flat running people over with it. Run smack into 'em and watch 'em bounce and die. Very cool rune--one of our favorites. Get this on crowded level & rack up the points! |
| 23. Rune of Vengeance | Mister Big Head rune. You hurt them as much as they hurt you. Basically if you have as much or more health than them they're dead. |
| 24. Shub Hat | This one puts a huge rotating Shub over the Player. Makes you a little harder to hit inside, you can't tell which way someone is facing, or who's under it. Pretty useless except for scaring the heck out of newbies on the server :). Occasionally you see a rotating Shub with no one inside if someone disconnects while wearing it---that's kinda funny. |
| 25. Rune of Repulsion | You push back people, rockets, and, most importantly Death Spots and Ice Traps. Allows you to walk right through death and ice fields. |
| 26. Rune of Dual Recall | You can teleport between 2 different places. Best use is to activate the rune quickly & repeatedly, turning yourself into a moving telefragger. Great on crowded levels, but takes some skill to pull it off. You can end up in a slime or lava pit. |
| 27. Rune of Weirdness | Cool little "decapitated heads" float off your body and cause other people to go into all kind of hallucinations when they hit em, from "too much coffee", to vertigo, to 'shroomed, to "forgot how to shoot", to drunken walk, to tunnel vision, to blindness (white screen). Victims can have any or all of these fun things. Last but not least whoever kills you when you have this rune gets a SERIOUS case of weirdness--usually at least 4 or 5 types for about 15 sec. Sweet revenge :) |
| 28. Phoenix Rune | This rune is disabled until respawning in liquids is solved. You have three extra lives at least--I have seen as many as six before though for some reason. You come back where you were standing (if you time it right you can telefrag a greedy pack stealer), with all your original weapons and 15 seconds of Quad power. You do have to switch from the default shotgun to the weapon of choice you had before you died though. |
| 29. Rune of Fire Walking | Your trail behind you becomes a path of fire. Great for losing someone chasing you or if you're quick you can run circles around people and toast them that way. True to life it doesn't work in water though--only on land. |
| 30. Cloaking Rune | Like Ring of Shadows--invisible except for "eyes". Cloaking effect turns on and off every 15 seconds or so, plus you are automatically uncloaked during any kind weapon use. Screen displays when you are "cloaked" or "uncloaked" and makes the "Ring of Shadows sound" with each change. |
